Jake made his first appearance at the Clay Cup Nationals in Deming Washington and won the Friday night main event! The event is three nights all leading up to the Saturday night finale, the most points means a better starting position for the Saturday night main event. This track is a very tough track to figure out with the concrete wall on the inside berm. The track owner came by to personally congratulate Jake as first time competitors don't usually win. The announcer even added that "his name is Andreotti but he drives like an Andretti!"
Jake had some difficulties in qualifying which set us up for some hard racing but ultimately got him straight into the main event Saturday night. After starting mid way, Jake took 10th to end the event.
