First flip on final night at Plaza Park

On the final night of the Championship points at Plaza Park, Jake takes several flips to ultimately end up in emergency and having a stay in the hospital. After CT Scans, X-rays, and an MRI, he is released to go home in a neck brace for a couple weeks. The night was going good after qualifying 10th out of 24, finished 3rd in heat, and then started 16th in the main event to make it up to 4th. He spun out around lap 12 and had to restart at the back. Continuing to heal as Jake prepares for the Tulsa...

As you aware, Jake was involved in a racing accident on September 26, 2015 at Plaza Park Raceway. Due to the injuries, Jake unable to attend the California Cup at Lemoore Raceway in October and the Turkey Bowl at Delta Speedway in Stockton, CA on October 23 - 24th. He was hoping to compete in the Super 600 class and win back to back titles as he won at this event last year in his restricted 600 class. Practice day at the 2016 Tulsa Shootout begins!

With over 1100 entries, today begins practice at one of the biggest races of the year. Jake will be competing in three cars, three classes: Restricted, A class, and Outlaw. Got the WIN at Bakersfield Speedway USAC race

Jake takes the win for his first time at Bakersfield Speedway. With no qualifying they began with a heat race where Jake finished 2nd and went directly to the main event. He started 2nd position and got the lead early on after hunting down the leader. Once he grabed the lead he took off. He also had the fastest lap out of all classes that night on the race track. It was a great feeling to win this event!
