Win #7 for 7p in Rookie Super 600 Season

September 5, 2015 brought the 7th win for the 7p K&N Filter, Hoosier Tire, Lucas Oil, Simpson, Joe's Racing Products, Seros Racing Engines, Buchanan Auto Electric, and Rago & Son Super 600 micro at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia, CA. Jake led all 30 laps with tough competition hot on his heals. Winning the 7th win of his rookie year meant a lot to Jake and the team. Jake is the Super 600 King of California Champion

It all came down to the last race on September 12, 2015 at Lemoore Raceway in Lemoore, CA. Jake became the first to win the King of California Champion titles back to back in different classes in his rookie years. The 12 year old Super 600 micro sprint driver came into the night 5 points behind the leader to win the title and the main event as well at Lemoore Champion and Bud Grand Prix titles.

First flip on final night at Plaza Park

On the final night of the Championship points at Plaza Park, Jake takes several flips to ultimately end up in emergency and having a stay in the hospital. After CT Scans, X-rays, and an MRI, he is released to go home in a neck brace for a couple weeks. The night was going good after qualifying 10th out of 24, finished 3rd in heat, and then started 16th in the main event to make it up to 4th. He spun out around lap 12 and had to restart at the back. Jake takes the checkered flag in the 50 lap Mark Hagopian Memorial race on September 22nd! A field of known, extreme talent filled this race with action packed excitement from lap one all the way to the end.
